On rare occasions, your Message Waiting light will stay lit after checking your messages. If you're certain you've done so, this button combination will reset that pesky light.

 

1. Pick up your handset or press the intercom button.

2. Press *700 + the extension number's light you wish to clear;

for example, *700208.

 

If this does not work, please consider calling as there may be a larger issue that requires troubleshooting.

Based on the system you have, this feature may or may not be enabled. If you're uncertain, follow these steps.

 

1. Call the number that brings you to your Auto-Attendant (AKA your business' number).

2. Enter #6.

3. Enter * + your extension number.

4. Enter your password and then press #.

5. Press 1 to play back new messages.

6. Enter #9 when finished.
