Access Control / Security
The term access control refers to the practice of restricting entrance to a property, a building, or a room to authorized persons only. Physical access control can be achieved by a human (a guard, bouncer, or receptionist), through mechanical means such as locks and keys, or through technological means such as access control systems like the mantrap.
Within these environments, physical key management may also be employed as a means of further managing and monitoring access to mechanically keyed areas or access to certain small assets.
Surveillance & Alarms
Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video surveillance, is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. Though almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores. Videotelephony is seldom called “CCTV”.

A Nurse Call system is a complex of buttons found around a hospital bed connected to the main unit that allows patients in health care settings to alert a nurse or other health care staff member remotely of their need for help.

A Door Monitoring system provides senior and assisted living facilities with a wealth of unique options and custom features capable of integrating with an emergency communication system.

A Reporting and Paging system provides fast emergency communication to medical pagers, cell phones and email to ensure the patients receive immediate assistance. It helps medical personal to keep track of their respective patients care plans and caregiver logs.

APTI is a licensed electrical contractor and able to install any job involved copper and fiber installations. We use only ICC hardware and only UL certified materials.
